  The absolute best freaking tacos and burritos I have ever had! Very authentic, fresh, and tasty. I could not get enough of this place. The prices are good and the people are friendly. Will definitely go back.

  Papas y Tacos is hands-down one of my favorite Taco Shops in San Diego. Everything I've had off their menu has been delicious, particularly the Azteca burrito. The in-house horchata is also a real game changer. Quality of the food is outstanding, highly recommended.

  If you live in the neighborhood you need to stop by. Pros: Good food, decent prices, clean dining room and good, fast service Cons: Small parking lot, closes early Not on a main street so it is easy to miss. However, it is a great local joint that provides a variety of good Mexican food. The ladies at the counter are efficient and move the line (when the is one) quickly. The cooks are fast also but the food taste is still great quality. It is a good balance between fast service and good tasting food. Usually busy during lunch rush but most times you can walk up and enjoy. You can also call ahead and place an order. My favorite is the Cali Burrito and the potato tacos combination plate.

  I got some food today.I eat there all the time.Today was different.I ordered the 2 taco w/rice &bean combo for me and a also got food for my son and his momma.Their food as always was GREAT!! My tacos looked horrible and there was barely anything in them. Every bite of the taco was just shell. Literally just hard fried corn tortilla shell..2wice I had too endure that.Remember it was a 2 taco combo. I will still continue too eat there but I just want the establishment too know.I will NEVER order the tacos from there again

  Worst service ever. I ordered tacos without onions. Then I get them and they have onions. I see they're busy so I don't make an issue. I walked up and kindly said excuse me I'm sorry I said no onions. She gave me attitude and said no you didn't tell me that but of course she picked up a call while taking my order, so she probably didn't even hear. So in her giving me attitude in from of all those people I chose to walk away. Now this is one of the hardest days of my life. All I wanted was to get my food and relax. Instead I had to pick out the onions and eat in my car while I felt even worse. Maybe they should get some customer services classes. Or at least that female they have up front.
