::The restaurant inside the Double Tree Hotel in San Deigo. Not a good experience for dining. The service was slow and 🐢 the food was just ok. That would have probably only dropped it to 3 stars but what put it over the top for the one star was the horrible service. The waitress forgot to take the order of one of the members of our party and we didn't realize that she wasn't going to take his order until everyone elses food was at the table but at that point it was late and we decided just to forget about it. Overall not a great experience so will not be going back there

::Good environment but unfortunately that's about the extent of the positives I can give after tonight's experience. You seat yourself and await service. The food is expensive for what you get, and the quality just wasn't there to be worth it. Apparently we showed up with 15 minutes left to closing and seated ourselves per the signage. We didn't even see any staff around until 8 minutes later. Throughout our visit, the server repeatedly complained that they were closing and they weren't supposed to be serving anybody else (despite their sign saying seat yourself and not anything about being closed nor closing), but then said he'd serve us anyway. He then came by before the food even came out and said he was going to bring us the bill so he could go home. We never were offered any drinks (not even water). He came back by to pick up the check and then asked if I needed my change back and then said "it's only $3". I told him he could have it, and we left. Very disappointing for a Hilton restaurant to operate this way.
