::Whatever you do, do NOT work for this company or use the service. Unprofessional is not even the word. They short your check, overwork you due to being short staffed and will literally tell you “Orkin does not need you, you need Orkin.” They’ve been audited several times this year alone. They charge you after requesting several times to cancel. Do not give this company your business. They don’t even deserve one star. The whole management team should be fired.

::Don't use this service. The worst customer service ever. 10 no shows over the year and we have to call about the no show and then the next time they do not show up again. We were told that the district office came in to take over the business and promised a higher level of service and just got worse. We also paid for termite traps to surround our home as preventive maintenance and no shows for this also. Was promised due to their poor service would get a quarterly check and not one visit or phone call. We want all of our money back for the installation and 3 year maintenance program. they can pull it out and we will use a new company. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Do Not Use them for any reason. Update: May 16, 2017. Once again Orkin Customer Service is not responding. How do they stay in business. Do Not Use this office or find another pest control service. Technicians are great but the office SUCKS and should be closed by Orkin Corporate. Their customer service department should be fired as well as management. Look at all the poor posts. Previous Post Orkin Pest Control is horrible. We had Orkin install the Termite Traps around our home last June. The traps were installed as a preventive measure and after installation the service representative stated that someone would come check the traps in 6 months. After 6 months we told our home service representative that no one has come to check the traps and we were told our account would be noted. In April we contacted Orkin regarding our Termite Traps and they scheduled an appointment to check the traps. Believe it or not they sent a sales representative that could not check the traps and only went into our basement to check and stated that she would find out about the service and someone would contact us. 3 weeks later I called Orkin and left a message on their service and no call back. 2 days ago I wrote to their corporate office and no response. We wanted 2,776/00 dollars including 4 years of service. What service, NONE.

::I really wish I read the reviews before scheduling an appointment. They don't even deserve the one star I gave them. Had an appointment scheduled, which they canceled and then rescheduled. Okay, no big deal. They then never showed up for the rescheduled appointment. I called them ready to go to another company and they said they would take $100 off my initial appointment if I stayed. We scheduled an appointment for the next week and then they never showed up... again. Are you kidding me? And no one has called me to even follow up. I was an Orkin customer for 9 years in two different states, but they just lost my business.

::I am completely livid. I had an initial pest control appointment with a window from 4-7pm. Not only did my technician not show but your office closed at 5 and I had no recourse to see what happened or complain. Additionally, I took time off work unpaid to sit and wait for basically a no show. This is extremely unprofessional. I could have found a local exterminator for a fraction of the cost and would have gotten better service. This is not the service I expect from a national extermination company. I am extremely dissatisfied. I am a working mom and the level of disrespect and disregard shown for my time and my appointment is disgusting.

::I got a call for an interview. Told him not interested. Guy sounded like a crook. I've been doing pest control work for 10 years don't be fooled by semantics. Know the nature of your target pest, be patient with baiting and pesticide and reduce ecology. That's how you control pests. A mom and pop company with some reputation do better work because they will have at least some caring techs than just none from a big company. Just research. Big companies prey on your urgency and need, They all think their psychologists.
