::Great hike with amazing views, but sure is a workout to climb! The short loop takes around 2-3 hours, and while the trail marker says the path is only 5 miles, it doesn't take into account the steep climb that is about a fourth of the trip. It is exhausting, so bring water and snacks and be ready for a huge trip! When I finished the hike, I logged in 87 floors and 15,000 steps. However, the views were amazing, and would definitely recommend to take a day trip out of it. The ruins were also very interesting and made for some very nice pictures.

::Great spot to check out some historical old abandoned estate. Great view of the Hudson valley. The trail is nice and an easy climb to the estate but there is some nice, challenging trails further up the trail towards the mountain top.
