  My keys got locked in my car with my child in it on the second hottest day this year. Extremely scared and shaken up praying my child was ok in tears I did not know what to do. Suddenly a softspoken gentleman appeared told me not to worry and had my car unlocked in under 30 seconds with a tool they use. No big enough tip would express my gratitude to Anthony. He smiled and asked for nothing in return except that I please refer people to his auto body shop. Anthony is an exceptional person. I would recommend everyone go to them for any car troubles. North Star is forever #1 and Thank You Anthony you truly are an angel

  I am totally pleased with everyone at North Star Auto Body. I picked up my car today and was extremely pleased how beautiful it looked. It looks like the day I bought it brand new. Everyone there is wonderful. I will definitely recommend North Star to all my friends. Again thank you so much.

  I went to Northstar almost a year ago so I'm really late on writing a review. It haunts me til this day because my grill (that they replaced) has a piece sticking out and it drives me nuts. The owner did say to stop in and he'd reinsert the grill since it seems they missed a hinge. The thought of stopping back at this shop is depressing, so I deal with it. Back to my experience: I stopped at Northstar after I had my car detailed, figured I'd get a quote on replacing my cracked grill (barely noticeable) and also a touch up on my lower bumper since it had curb damage. The owner explained I could put a claim in and not worry about it. I took his advice and left my car. After an insurance notification of a quote being ready, I took a look and was appalled. I went back to the shop to dispute my estimate and asked why he was replacing my hood and claiming to put new lights when he wasn't (among other things), he explained in order to have a smooth paint job they had to replace it. At that time the hood was already on my car and I was tired so I left it alone. (Please note- this is a 08' Mercedes. Now my car is highly devalued and when taken to Mercedes, they said the hood was not the appropriate distance all around). They held the car another week or 2, when I called they said they had to detail it so it was taking longer. I received my car and the inside was clean, which was expected, I detailed it before I gave it to them, I headed right to the gas station and as I stood there pumping gas, I wiped my finger on my car and started writing my name in the dust, Detailed?! not! Also, my bumper was apparently "replaced" but a few weeks later it snowed and after getting out of a parking space (4matic benz), the bumper cracked in the same exact area that was damaged, Replaced?! or sand then finished?! I made the mistake of trusting these people, Don't do the same.

  I had the most amazing experience with these wonderful people, particularly Shannon and Dominick, who were both so kind and helpful. I was in an accident and was very shaken up. I didn't know the protocol and was extremely worried. They took the time to explain everything to me and make me feel comfortable, especially right after my accident when they assisted me in getting my car to their shop and starting the process. Both Shannon and Dominick put me completely at ease, and as we all know that is so important following a traumatic event. I will never go anywhere else and will be referring all my friends to North Star! Thank you for everything!

  Anthony was super helpful yesterday. My husband needed new tires before our day trip and Anthony was able to take care of us on the spot! Great guys, great shop!
