The NICEST staff in any retail store. Ever. Very patient and kind! They literally suggested so many different jackets to me.......and I stick with the same one. GHOST WHISPERER!!

The staff is very helpful. They are not pushy but are there to walk you through the different options when you want the input. There is an excellent selection in store and often a great clearance selection too. Convenient downtown location.

The clothing at this nice store was too light for my needs. The clerk told me there were no other stores in the area that sold the jackets I wanted which wasn't true. There are four other stores within 10 blocks that fit my needs. I asked the clerk how long he lived in Portland, all his life he stated....

I am having the same problem with my water proof Mountain Hardwear jacket that I have noticed other people had. I probably only wore it about 10 times and the water proof is flaking off. From what I have read they don't consider this a defect. Apparently it has to do with your sweat reaction with the interior coating. Very nice looking jacket but disappointing performance!:\

I have a Mt Hardwear jacket that is about 3 years old that is falling apart. This jacket cost around $200. I wouldn't have purchased this item if I knew this company wouldn't stand by their warranty. The waterproof membrane is delaminating due a manufacturing defect. I've always taken care of this jacket and washed it appropriately yet Mt Hardwear employees say the jacket is old and has a cheaper waterproof system and they can't help. Save your money and choose a better brand.
