::Four stars for having a whole separate vegetarian menu, which you might have to ask for. Try the spicy noodle soups, the #37 combo vegetarian bun (rice noodles) or the bamboo hot pot on a cold rainy day. Service can be hit or miss and the interior could use an update or even a coat of paint, but the food is delicious and I eat here often.

::The food was very good! We ordered from the vegetarian menu and everything was delicious. We ordered the spring rolls (which you assemble yourself), crunchy noodles, fried rice, and a couple other dishes. The catfish soup was the best.

::The absolutely BEST curry in Seattle. Authentic, provocative, delicious and absolutely addictive curry. I have tried all the other curry places north to Shoreline and the Monlight blows them ALL away.

::ehhh I assume this place has been here forever and has a solid customer base but it just isn't that great to me. Good menu and plenty to pick from but was just okay. Long wait times depending on what u order. The atmosphere is not very nice. The service is worse. It's very cheap though so you get what u pay for.

::Excellent selection of vegetarian versions of Vietnamese dishes. Moonlight Cafe also has a meat menu that is as complete as the vegetarian one. The restaurant atmosphere is very low key and some of the fixtures are a little dingy. The staff are all kind and helpful. Beware the night of and after the Lunar New Year as it is swamped with people trying to get a vegetarian meal. I have been coming to Moonlight Cafe for many years and have rarely had a nothing disappointing to eat or to say.
