::I cant express how happy i am that i brought my mom to this doctor. She "HAD" bad back pain that was bothering her 24/7 . Shes been to many doctors, chiropractors ,physical therapists to only get worse and spend money . She was out of work for about a year from the pain . But Dr. Jonathan mingoia was the only one to make a difference , unbelievable . He helped her lose the pain in about 2 weeks when the other guys were just making money from her. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone ,Thank me later.

::Pros: After experiencing severe back pain for a week, I finally decided to see a chiropractor, I originally found him on zocdoc. After reading fairly positive reviews, I decided to give him a try. They were able to give me an appointment the same day (MONDAY). Awesome! I, myself, felt as though I may have had a herniated disk as I described my pain, Dr. Mingoia listened intently. I decided to trust him as my doctor and he adjusted my back. Immediately, I felt a little more relief but not quite 100%. I also later found out that he was not in network with my plan, thankfully he accepted the copayment that I gave him as sufficient. Cons: About an hour after the adjustment, I felt sore, apparently that's supposed to be expected as I was told. I waited 24 hours to see if it would subside, unfortunately the original severe back pain that I was previously experiencing returned. At this point, I was at work (WEDNESDAY) and unfortunately we were so short staffed, as I work in a healthcare facility myself, that I had no choice but to stay and tough it out. I later spoke to Dr. Mingoia regarding the issue and requested an MRI prescription. I had to repeatedly call to find out when and where my prescription went. I requested it to be sent to JCMC but it was sent to Hudson Radiology, but whatever. I was told that the results would come in by Friday. I waited until Friday. Now, I am speaking with the receptionist and I'm asking about whether or not my results finally came in. Again, I am repeatedly calling once again and had to go back and forth with Hudson Radiology and Dr. Mingoia's receptionist about the report. By the 3rd call, I asked them to confirm receipt with one another and was that done? Of course not. I didn't mean to seem like an annoying patient as they made me feel. To be fair, this is now the second week that I have been in constant pain. Finally the results were received. I call to see if the results have been reviewed, as I explained this was an urgent matter and I am in severe pain. I was told the "doctor is busy with other patients". At this point I am getting flustered and I ask if he will at least get back to me by the end of the day, her response - "I don't know." Seriously? At this point I decided to just pick up my own copy of the report and sure enough, I had herniated disks. It was now too late to see anyone else and too late to schedule an appointment and being that most offices are closed on weekends, I now had to wait until Monday. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Not only do I feel unimportant or neglected as a patient but I have been in the worst pain for 2 weeks now. If for whatever reason, Dr. Mingoia decided he did not want me as a patient anymore, he should have just told me and we could've saved each other alot of trouble.
