  Love having the ability to take public transportation. The trip on Empire Builder from Milwaukee to La Crosse is one of the nicest trips on Amtrak! Especially if you can manage to take a ride during the fall color change. Take the commuter from Milwaukee to Chicago when you want to experience Illinois for awhile, nice short ride.

  Efficient and tidy station. Cafe and dining options are available via snack bar. Cafe and snack bar could expand their healthy options. Vending machines are available. Excellent access from nearby cities to the great city of Milwaukee. Amtrak staff are friendly and efficient here during my travels.

  The place is clean, restaurant is a great place to eat something light. Amtrak people are helpful. Greyhound people are helpful?. However, the place is poorly run and some of the security people too old or too young to guard the station. Too many building code volations. Still ok?
