    The guy who helped me in the drive thru was being kind of rude when I was being very kind and polite to him the whole time. I’m very obviously young and people my age are still learning how to be functioning adults and we have no idea what we’re doing. I didn’t have my pay slip with me because they hadn’t mailed me my booklet yet, so when I first got to the window I simply just said to him that I didn’t have it. As soon as I said that he was like “they were down there,” with a rude tone. And I don’t know if he meant it to come off that way but it did and it just shocked me a bit. So I was like “oh… okay.” I had already driven past them (I didn’t see them when I first got there, that was my fault), and there was also a car behind me. I’m also very sick but my car payment was late due to being busy for the holidays, so I wasn’t really thinking straight or paying attention to my surroundings. Then he finally just told me he could give me one, which would’ve been the nice thing to do at first and then he could’ve told me where they were in a more polite way so I know for next time. The only reason why I’m giving more than one star is because the lady that also was helping me was very kind. But I feel like if a young adult is asking for guidance, especially for situations like these, just be nice to them because we are learning. Don’t make them feel stupid.

    My daughter was starting her first job and needed her employment waiver notarized for work. We went to the Brandon Centeral branch and Hanna assisted us. She notarized the document, provided a print out, and emailed us a copy. We were done in less than 10 minutes. We sincerely appreciate her efficiency, gracious customer service, and the level of detail she demonstrasted in assisting us.

    Had a car loan with MidFlorida, at the end, after my final payment they sent me a letter saying I had overpaid and a refund was due to me. I expected a check in the mail. Instead I got a paper statement 3 months later with almost nothing left in a savings account I never new had been opened. When I asked about the refund I was told it was put into the saving account, but that it did not meet their minimum balance requirements so it had fees attached....which were taken out of the savings account each of the three intervening months resulting in my refund being almost nothing. I closed the account! I'll NEVER get a loan or open an account here again. Although some of the blame also has to go to the dealership where I bought the car because they also didn't mention the fact that in order to get the loan, a savings account would also be required. Update: After writing the above 1 star review, I was contacted by the bank. I was actually pleasantly surprised. They made things right, right away. They apologized for me not receiving previous statements which would have given me a better understanding of charges etc and explained everything. I must admit, I did not expect the bank to contact me. I hope they can find a way for the dealerships setting up these car loans to explain the details to customers/members. I should have mentioned in the first review that the ladies in the branch I visited were extremely nice and explained the reasons for the low value left in the account etc. I think I was more upset that I hadn't been informed about the charges or the "check in the mail" than anything else. I can honestly say, I won't say NEVER again! I look forward to my next car loan....when the price of vehicles come down a little...lol

    I worked with “Ida”… omg she’s the bomb! So I’ opened a checking and savings account today. She was very nice, knowledgeable & even assisted with refinancing both my cars. Branch was busy and active which is a good thing to me. But wait times were not long. I look forward to building a bank relationship long term and I’ll be back to open my business account. Great Job I felt very welcome
