Really an awesome place for a meal. Cool staff, atmosphere is rustic. I am an oyster fan, and this is where I come for them in Pittsburgh. Oh and great bar too! Enjoy

F.A.S.T. Review FOOD: If you're oyster fanatic, this is a definite stop for you! MO Co. has a rotating oyster menu, so each visit brings a new experience. Would recommend the barrel-aged hot sauce if you're feeling adventurous. AMBIENCE: Maritime! The drop anchor, barstools connected with nautical chains, glass-blown fish water bottles all prime your palate and mind for a seafood meal. Restaurant also has lots of natural light pouring in, which makes it a great spot for midday meals. SERVICE: Excellent. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and filled beverages in a timely manner TOTAL IMPRESSION: authentic take on an oyster bar. The other entrees are delicious but on the smaller portion size for their price. Would definitely recommend.

My seafood-loving family stopped in on a whim for a quick bite and beverage, and ended up enjoying it so much we stayed for a couple rounds of delicious seafood & drinks! Our server was super kind and knowledgeable about their great oysters and other fruits de mer. The chowder and bisque were both top notch, and we had our first canned Spanish spicy squid (which was exceptional). We're already thinking about returning. So good!

Wonderful atmosphere, delightful food, and horrendously overpriced drinks. Very cozy yet upscale decor. Really makes you think of the Northeast without trying too hard. Staff is very enthusiastic about the amazing (and always-changing) oyster selection, and there's great non-seafood options as well (the grilled cheese is delightful!). The only downside are the drink prices. The beers are on the high end of acceptable, but I don't think there's a mixed drink under $10. A single shot (perfectly jiggered at 1.5oz) of Laphroaig 10 set us back $13, or about $10 more per shot then it costs me at home if I bought a bottle at retail. Still, one of my favorite new places in the city and I look forward to going back soon!

Excellent service and a super fun atmosphere. The food and drinks came out at a nice pace. Every oyster we ate was absolutely delicious and our server recommended a beer paring that was top notch. He steered us differently in our drink choice, and each recommendation was spot on. We look forward to eating here in the summer! We did expect cold shrimp for the peel-and-eat. It was hot and we probably would not order it again.
