  This place is not a 24hr service mcdonalds. Was closed at midnight when I went. But other than that the fries are always fresh. The drive thru is always busy. They have 2 intercom stations where you can order from but only 1 works which makes the drive thru line extremely long. And they always mess up your order. So always check before leaving...

  My son told me they have an app. I finally tried it. They post specials everyday! The app also lets you track your coffee drinks to get a free one. You can use the mobile order feature as well. I have not been that brave yet. This location has recently been updated and is fresh and clean inside. When you are in a hurry or need that soda, stop here.

  25 min to get through the drive-thru is completely unreasonable. On the other hand, best chicken nuggets I've had in a while.

  I am referring to the McDonald's in Alexandria on East Glebe Road by the intersection of Mount Vernon. Many years ago when this location opened I was in the first group of employees. It's gone through several renovations and it continues to be a exemplary location. Writing as of February 2018, it is one of the few McDonald that has the enhanced bakery menu with muffin tops and coffee cake.
