  I usually avoid coming here because of all the geese poop. I've been to other parks with water and geese and they're no where near as disgusting as this one. It's a shame this is the closest park to me. I usually don't see any staff but when I do they're driving those big yellow trucks ON THE PATH, not the golf carts, the trucks. Are they patrolling? Because I never see anything lawn equipment in the bed of the truck. Very bizarre. I don't have kids so I don't know how well they keep up the playgrounds but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

  I visited the Park on July 1st, 2017. I brought my grandchildren to play on the swings . The pool, play and barb-q areas look ok. But the over grown , 8 feet high brush around the small lake area is a total disgrace ! The Town Of Oyster bay of the Village of Massapequa Park , whoever is responsible , collecting my tax dollars , get to work and clean it up !! Why are there memorial benches along the walkways, facing the lake ? To look at the 8 foot high weeds ? What a joke ! I use to play in this park 50 years ago and it was beautiful !

  One of my favorite parks to take the kids to. There are several different playgrounds to choose from. They also have two tennis courts, which are free to use. The public pool has daily passes and all summer passes, and offers swimming lessons. But, you can only get the lessons if you have an all summer pass. The passes are expensive, and I was willing to pay for the lessons alone, but that is not permitted. It's still a nice day activity. You can also secure BBQ locations throughout the park for any event. I believe you have to contact Town Hall to secure the space. A nursery school is also on site, but I don't know much about it.

  They have ice skating in the winter and it is a great family park all year round.
