::The pistachio and ricotta shortcake is amazing!

::This French bakery is everything! One of the last remnants of the REAL Upper West Side, this cafe is cleverly tucked on a side entrance of 74th Street in the famous/infamous Ansonia building. I come here almost exclusively for the coconut croissant — although the almond is noteworthy. A perfect place for everything from coffee talk to a light lunch. Seating is tight so prepare for that — but off hours it can harken back to gay old París! Also great for a light bite, the salads are ample and the sandwiches (all served on a fresh baguette) are divine. I ordered my thanksgiving pies here one year to great acclaim.

::Best coffee in NYC!!! Strong and hot. Also the best apple turnover around. The staff is supper nice and the place is cute. I try to stop whenever I am in the area.

::I went physically to the address shown on Google and I could not find the bakery. Now, I looking for street view, I find it. It is really located on the side street. Address: 227 W 74th St, New York City, United States

::Coffee and cappuccino are average. The desserts are good and reasonably priced. It's small but there is usually space.
