::Manny's is a wonderful old time establishment. The corn beef is among the best I have ever tasted. The service is always good and the prices are very fair. It can get crowded at times but that is for good reason. This is a must eat place for anyone in Chicago.

::Delicious!! Lamb shank slightly salty, but tender as ever. My guy had beef stew. He absolutely loved it. Eli's cheesecake was a great dessert...for him!!! We went after a morning funeral , not crowded, fast service. Not cheap, but good stuff anyhow😀

::The absolute worst lox I have ever had, and I have been eating lox for years from, and at, all kinds of places. I was very surprised they call them "Nova" because they tasted nothing like what other places have. The lox did not taste fresh and were very salty. Very poor quality for such a high price. What was also ridiculous was that they had all the good food displayed (such as matzo balls, kugel, etc.), but I was told I couldn't order it because it was still too early. It's a Jewish deli...we should be able to get such food any time. I will return but will be careful about what I order.

::Manny's is a Chicago Institution! It's an old Jewish style deli that has been around since 1942. There is a small parking lot in the back of the location but I would suggest that you park on the street and pay for parking as it's always filled. We had a pastrami sandwich with a potato pancake and a Reuben sandwich with a potato pancake. You have your choice of corned beef, pastrami, turkey pastrami or roasted turkey meat on the Reuben. Which is grilled with Swiss cheese and Kraut and served with homemade 1000 dressing. Both sandwiches come with two pickles. The sandwiches are huge and well worth the prices of 13.95 for the pastrami and 14.95 for the Reuben. In fact for the average person, they put enough meat on a sandwich that you can eat 2 X from one sandwich. This visit I found the pastrami to be extremely dry and the Reuben was good but also a little on the dry side. We were a little disappointed since we had not been here for a while. I think next time we visit we might try one of the everyday hot entrees as they looked really good. Come for the cool atmosphere and huge sandwiches or try a hot entree as they seem to be a favorite of of locals.

::Crowd breakfast beer Camping WORLD waiting for work done, recommended and expectations fulfilled. Good SERVICE, large portions & coffee/ water refills. Camping IS not to detrimental since THERE IS a lot of: "In and outs grab a bites", BUT in my case I will try to be a little more considerate with good SERVICE, to not penalize the server IF we see 2 or 3 tables go by , or move to the smaller table/ counter. The were very nice and appeared to be used to campers, hence the recommendations from Camping world. Don't worry IF your not; the crew will GET you plated quickly. I would go again with intentions to drop off RV at and go/ or return after a few days the SAME before moving on. It pays to ask the right people some times?
