Incredibly friendly service. I felt very welcomed. The coffee is great. I had a pumpkin spiced latter and my girlfriend had a coconut matcha latte. Both were delicious. We ordered some sandwiches for lunch and they were great too. The bulgogi sandwich was very tasty. The Italian sandwich was good as well. The inside of the cafe is very cute. It was our first time here and we will definitely come back. Also they are pet friendly!

We need more places like these in every city. What a wonderful concept! Their coffee was great, and the sandwiches were on point. Definitely going there again whenever I get a chance. The market shelves also looked great! Typically overpriced as usual for organic, hand crafted stuff, but good quality and neatly curated products it seemed.

Mae's Market & Cafe is one of those places where if you haven't been there before you don't know what to do. Order from the guy making the food? Sit down? Find the menu that all the other customers seemed to have? Order from the woman who was behind the counter? In the end, without a menu, I just ordered a slice of pizza that had to be reheated. The thin crust was kind of tough and tasted so-so. And the music sounded like it was stuck between two stations. Not impressed. And I went out of my way to go here for lunch because of all the great reviews.

Mae's Market and Cafe was a pleasant surprise on a recent overnight stay in Old Town. Here's why: 1) Food: They sell breakfast pastries, lunch and lots of goodies in the market. We found something for each of us, including our five-year-old daughter. 2) Coffee: Brewing Counter Culture, it was good! Our iced lattes were delicious. The one complaint was they didn't have simple syrup at the condiment bar. 3) Space: It's spacious and the aisles are well marked. They have a large outdoor patio as well and indoor seating inside the large building behind the restrooms.

The most disappointing meatball sub I've ever had. It was extremely dry, lots of bread, and maybe 6 small meatballs altogether. It was definitely not worth the $10.
