  Incredible customer service! Mike in the office helped me out with all my storage questions and needs as a newbie. Clean and secure facilities. A+ in my book.

  We've been renting storage space from here for years. Great atmosphere, temp controlled and never an issue with our things stored here. Over the years we've increased the unit sizes and downgraded the storage space needed at any given time. Last weekend we rented the largest unit size at the facility and consolidated a smaller second unit into the new larger space. After years of accumulating a lot of extra things we ended up with some items we wanted to simply throw away. We spoke with Mike & Phil about how we could go about getting rid of the items we no longer wanted to store. At first they informed us we could keep some items off to the side for when garbage day was later in the week, after realizing that we had more than just a few things we felt bad and went back to chat with them about an alternative option. We inquired if they knew of anyone who takes donations and they informed us of a customer of the facility actually takes donations for veterans and displaced families. They contacted him to see if he had interest in the items we were seeking to donate of that included 6 bins of children clothes infant- 2yrs, car seats, 2 bassinets, swing, booster seats many toys and more. Their customer came right over to load everything up as the night before a family had a fire at their home and lost everything and had young children. We were pleased to have been able to allow our memories with our belongings would be able to benefit another family locally. This was a wonderful lesson for our young children to make a donation for others who may be in need and they came =make memories of their own. We are grateful to Life Storage and its staff of Mike & Phil to have made the introduction as without their involvement another family in need would not have been able to receive such items they needed. While there were some larger pieces we needed to move to our home both Mike & Phil were able to make the necessary accommodations to allow us to use the Life Storage truck complimentary. Overall our years of experience working with them we'd definitely would refer people to store their belonging as well. Thanks for all the assistance Mike & Phil and the Life Storage company!

  Outstanding! I am truly going to miss the kind of service that I received at this Life Storage location once I have completed my move out of state. This is one of the best run facilities of ANY kind that I have encountered. I am very appreciative of the professionalism and compassion of the staff here, and especially the manager, Mike. They are very understanding of the many challenges that can arise when storing a large amount of belongings, as well as being knowledgeable about options on how to proceed when it’s time for moving out of there. I can’t recall if I’ve ever given a five star rating of anything before, but Farmingdale Life Storage has certainly earned theirs. Thank you!

  This is such a great place. The employees are super super nice. It's also super great to know they remember who you are. I do not go into the office often but they remembered my name. The facilities are very clean. Also everything is secure. I never worried about my things in the facility. I even kept my wedding dress in there before my wedding. The lighting was also another important thing for me. I looked at other places in the area and it was dark and a maze. I was not comfortable at all in those places. The prices were also very reasonable.
