  Pretty good food and great service. The shrimp and scallops were delightful! The quality of food seemed great, but I personally don't have the most experience with quality seafood since I'm from Utah...

  Best clam chowder I have ever had. Wonderful fresh seafood. I had the seafood bake, and it was chock full of shrimp, scallops, and haddock in a cheese and breadcrumb stuffing. It came out hot and delicious. For desert, I had Boston Cream pie. It was filled with real custard, and the chocolate icing was at least 1/3rd of an inch thick! Legal had been around for so long that it's easy to take for granted. Don't. Legal seafood is a Boston treasure.

  Legal is predictable and reliable but we were disappointed with this visit. To start, we didn't find a single wine we liked amongst the 2 white flights we tried-so we didn't order a bottle. The bartender didn't even ask why. We sat at the bar, and both TVs were both tuned to some corn toss tournament, even though the Red Sox were playing (It might have been a rain delay but couldn't one TV show something with broader appeal?) I asked the bar tender for rolls after we ordered and he said "Sure", then did everything chore imaginable and avoided eye contact. We asked the runner delivering our appetizers for rolls and side plates and she seamed offended, but she did bring them. Random people kept walking in at random times, carrying their own food, and sat down to eat at the same table. (Except for two of them who sat at the bar.) Eventually, they'd randomly pick up their dishes and walk off. I have no idea who they were, but they weren't customers. When our glasses were absolutely dry, we had to request water refills 3 different times. I don't know what to say-if you go here I guess you should not sit in the bar.

  Hands down the best place for Seafoof in Massachusetts... Classy atmosphere and great wait staff. I myself love the king crab so bring your family you will not be disappointed... I highly recommend this place.

  If you enjoy lobster the hot lobster roll is a must have. A perfectly toasted bun and lobster that is poached in butter. Just simple food highlighting the perfectly cooked lobster. It's the BEST lobster I've ever had!!! Delicious!!!!
