  I found Lori a few years ago on the internet. I came back from a trip and got really sick then I had lost my voice due to laryngitis. She taught me the proper vocal warm ups, vocal techniques and many ways to keep my voice healthy. I have improved so much with my range, tone quality and basically everything over all. She even came out to my studio session recently to guide me through the recording process. I'm so fortunate to have found Lori Amador. I would definitely recommend LA Vocal Coaching.

  I have been under the direction of Lori for three + years now. Lori makes it easy to let go and relax and just focus. Sometimes just backing off from singing and learning relaxation techniques helps you to become a better artist all around. Lori has been a strength to me when I was down and helped me reach a potential of success in areas of my life I didnt think were possible. She is not a vocal coach, she is truly an angel. I recommend her without any reservation.

  I've been studying with Lori Amador since 2008. I grew up with singing from an early age. After high school I mostly sang recreationally. A few months before I started seeing Lori, I had decided I wanted to pursue singing in a band. I had a strong interest in pursuing rock bands specifically. I came to Lori unsure if I had the vocal ability to sing rock with my voice and the style I was accustomed to singing. I grew singing gospel and classical stuff. Lori was very straight forward with me. She said I definitely had the ability to do this, but I had to work to break some bad habits to succeed. Within 1 month of working with Lori people could hear the drastic improvement in my voice. Within 2 months of seeing Lori I ended up getting into a rock band. She gave me exercises that help strengthen my vocals and longevity. She didn't just focus on the singing, she really did act as a coach. She examined my lifestyle without judging and pointed out things that were hindering my progress as a singer. And after years of work with Lori I was able to fill in the breaks in my vocal range. Any time I got a compliment on my singing I would always recommend Lori. My husband was so impressed that he started taking lessons with Lori. People noticed the improvement in his vocals as well. It's 9 years later, and I'm now an award winning burlesque singer who sings rock. I owe a lot of my success to Lori and her wonderful coaching. If you're serious about improving your singing Lori is the best coach I've ever worked with.

  Lori is a GENIUS. Over the course of a few short months, she increased my range as well as my confidence significantly. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She truly has a gift for teaching. She's always very positive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would give her 8 stars if I could!
