The experience in this restaurant was frustrating, especially the service and the food! We were a group of 4 people who went to La Tasca, when we arrived, in my place I did not have the knife, then I asked for it four times and almost when I was finishing eating was that they brought it to me. My husband ordered wine and had to change it because that wine was of a very low quality. Also, we ordered some tapas, and the bread with tomato was terrible, It seems that they had prepared it the day before, nothing fresh! Then the worst of all was the paella, it was a raw rice with some red color of very bad taste, the "fruits of the sea" were just a few, and when we tasted them, they were chewy! After that we ordered the dessert, we wanted to share it and we asked for four spoons, they brought only two, we asked for two more spoons again, which they brought really late when there was almost no more dessert on the plate! I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT.

Alls I can say is wow! We ate here for the first time in awhile, and we knew there had been some renovations but did not know of the new concept. The restaurant - Txuleton by La Tasca, has an entirely new menu. There is still tapas on the menu, but a whole new array of Northern Spanish steakhouse entrees. Our bartender, Ion, was great in explaining the various menu changes and helping us find some things we liked. We went for one of the steak entrees - the Churrasco, along with several tapas (Croquetas and Gambas) and some mussels. The food was delicious! We each got a sangria flight, and a couple glasses after of our favorites. The restaurant has a whole new feel, with a new interior, new TV's and all around new vibe. We will definitely be back. Thanks Ion for the great recommendations and great service!

Ignore the wait staff's lack of knowledge of Spanish food and you will be okay. Tasty foods. If you know what you want, you can find it here. Try the pulpo. Do not drink the sangria. It is TOO sweet. There is a reasonable selection of European wines. With abundant hispanic restaurants in the USA, there does seem to either dilute or confuse restaurants with actual Spanish cuisine (which is far better than any hispanic cuisine!). I am just glad some few restaurants are trying.

Came here with the impression this place had the best Sangria in Arlington. I was highly disappointed. They had a variety of different Sangrias to choose from. I've had traditional Spanish Sangrias before and this by far was the worst. It didn't not taste fresh at all. The Sangria was sitting on the back bar uncovered. The wine taste old. The food was okay for the cost, nothing really special. Have crossed this move place off my list.
