  I've been fortunate enough to be able to shop at this store for almost a decade and time and time again they prove they are simply the best at what they do and serving the community around them. I won't bore you with details but anytime I needed help and was in a jam these guys have been a friend. They deserve 10 stars! [=

  Best grocery store in the area and is in an extremely convenient place. Often has everything you need.

  Awesome local grocery shop that has literally improved my quality of life since discovering it 3 years ago. Great selection, prices, service and quality all within an easy walk or bike from home and office. No more standing in lines for overpriced or limited selection at the big name chain stores.

  Excellent variety of quality foods considering the size of the store. Fresh, organic produce at incredibly reasonable prices. If I lived in the neighborhood, I could/would easily do the majority of my grocery shopping here. Small business and friendly service.

  I've been shopping here since the early 70s when John Kurkman was alive. Unique place. very small, only three aisles but they have almost everything -- Not every example of everything but usually the best of each type of item. Quality is high. Rarely over-ripe fruit, green beans are picked over and only the best ones packages, ears of corn are partially shucked and cleaned before packaging, etc. Fresh veggies, fruits, meats (including a butcher and deli), selection of cheese, wines, beers, frozen. And, if you are a regular they will stock unusual items for you. And you can order special items like a holiday ham or prime tenderloin. Prices are surprisingly competitive. It is rarely crowded. I can do a full week's shopping in about 15-20 minutes. Checkout is quick and they will carry bags to the car for you. They also deliver in these pandemic times.
