  If you're a chocolate lover, this is the place for you. They have a bunch of fancy small-batch and free-trade bars from all over the world, for ~$3-$8. The cafe can upgrade mochas with dark chocolates of varying intensities, and they offer sipping chocolate (which I regret introducing my girlfriend to). The people working there have always been friendly as well.

  I love chocolate, and this place has great chocolate! I got a delicious mocha and some good quality chocolate.

  My wife and I came across this coffee shop and we were just blown away by the staff. Extremely helpful not with just coffee but also giving us some tips on what to see in Seattle while we are here. We will recommend Kakao to anyone asking for a great cup of java.

  I love the coffee and the ambiance here. The tables and couches are great to do collaborative work, and there is tons of natural light. The coffee is always tasty and they have the best baked goods to choose from! I hope to book it for an event someday as the space is superb :D
