::Great custom freshly squeezed juices! So hard to find a clean healthy drink without any frozen fruits, or added sugars! Fresh! Great pastries I’m looking forward to try!

::What a great, small, local cafe! I came here for a smoothie and, because everything was so affordable, I left with pastries and soup as well. Joe and his wife make everything from scratch, and if you have the time of day he’ll tell you stories about his family, the origin of each food, and he’ll top off your smoothie while you chat. Such a great experience, I’m so glad I tried something new!

::Joe's Café is the best smoothie place I have been to, serving some of the best smoothies I have ever had, using all fresh fruit and organic frozen fruit and blending the smoothie on the spot for you! No extra fillers or juices are added, with only a variety of milks (2%, almond, and coconut) and sweeteners (honey, agave, maple) necessary! In addition to the variety of offered menu flavors, you can request any combination of fruits and veggies to blend together for unique custom combinations. The juices are also created fresh on the spot for you and have no added sugar, using only the natural sweetness of the ingredients to make a delectable combination! The smoothie bowls are my personal favorite, offering more smoothie with a thicker viscosity and consistency, allowing easier consumption with a spoon, and a variety of toppings (basil seeds, almonds, granola, coconut, sliced/small fruit) to complete the bowl. For foods, the store offers a variety of all vegetarian cuisine, with savory spinach puff pastries with and without feta cheese, flavored with onions, peppers, and other spices! This makes for a delicious crisp combo, especially when freshly toasted in the shop! Furthermore, the baklava they offer comes in cinnamon and pistachio and is sweet and nutty without being too overwhelming and messy. The Nutella-filled dough pastries are also delicious and soft, especially when also freshly toasted. Finally, the lentil soup is extraordinarily delicious and flavorful, with potatoes, carrots, turmeric, and freshly squeezed lemon juice giving it a nice sharp bite to the creamy and rich texture of the lentil soup itself. All of the dishes are also homemade, showing an incredible technique and control over all the various flavors offered to achieve a nice balance of saltiness, sweetness, and sourness! This is a family owned restaurant and the main person there, Joe, is incredibly kind and friendly towards all sorts of customers. I believe his wife makes many, if not all, of the savory dishes, especially the lentil soup, so my compliments to the chef for bringing such delicious food to Bellevue! There have been several days over multiple weeks where ordering a smoothie with lentil soup and sweet and savory pastries were enough for a filling delicious meal, and I fully intend on returning more in the future! I highly recommend going out of your way to stop by Joe’s Café and try out all the different drinks, dishes, and desserts that it has to offer!

::The food here is excellent! My favorite is the rice pudding. I also recommend the Bakllavas, the minestrone, the spanakopita, and the lentil soup. I recommend getting fresh juice as well. More importantly, Mr. Joe (the owner) is super friendly, polite, welcoming, and always ready for a good conversation. Every week, I go for my weekly dose of rice pudding, so I definitely recommend this place. Update: they have a great pastrami sandwich in Pita bread, loved it. Ask for lots of house dressing in it :-).

::Absolutely awesome find! Joe (Adnon), the owner is incredible! The green juice he made me from scratch was delicious; the baklava light, flaky and scrumptious (the hint of rose was delightful in the one variation); and the lentil soup...the best I've ever had! Great, great place! Will be back!
