  Tho I liked the stylist, many other equally good saloons charge much less than $147 - that's what they charged me for just a regular shampoo and haircut

  Javier gave me a haircut and amazing color! He said it would change my life and I thought he was being dramatic but he was right. I am naturally a brunette and have always tried going red/auburn at other salons but have constantly been disappointed...but not with Javier and the Jafar Tazi Salon! He made me look like a natural red head and I couldn't be happier. The salon itself is beautiful and clean with a friendly and accommodating staff. I had a state-of-the-art experience there and I will continue to see Javier at the Jafar Tazi Salon from now on!

  I had such a great experience here. I have been looking for a salon that is both upscale and friendly- and I found it!!! I went in for a trim, highlights and glaze. I brought in a picture of a celebrity who's color/cut I was aiming for and I got exactly what I wanted. The stylist, Javier, was very accommodating and courteous. The front desk staff made it easy to book my appointment and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I enjoyed the view of Greenwich Avenue as I transformed my look. Let's just say booking my next appointment was a given!
