  Hilton did an amazing job restoring the historic Hotel Monroe in downtown Phoenix! The lobby showcased beautifully. The room I stayed in was open and inviting with a beautiful view. Modern chic decor all over the hotel complimented the historic frame of this gorgeous hotel. As a Hilton honors member I received a discount for my stay but I would have gladly paid full price.

  Great place downtown. Good views and nice secluded hotel most people walk by. Go up to the roof to hang out. I missed this on my first visit. Also a good breakfast downstairs that filled the family up until well past lunch as we explored all downtown Phoenix had to offer. Friendly staff and a recommended stay.

  I have stayed at this hotel about 5 times (15 days) in the last 3 months. There are a couple of reasons that I like this hotel: Location - This is great hotel if you are going to the Capital or if you have business in the downtown area. Price - IF you book this hotel early the price is great and competitive with the other hotels in this class around this area. Atmosphere -Great rooms with pretty good views. While small the rooms don't feel that way. Decor is modern and fitting of the hotel level and price associated with it. Here are the cons: Pool - There isn't one so kids won't like this hotel. Price - If you wait too long to book room prices are ridiculous. Parking - Also ridiculously priced even for this downtown area, especially when considering the price of the hotel room.

  Beautiful old style Hotel in downtown Phoenix. Within walking distance of everything downtown, this hotel was also featured in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. It was the bank in the movie. Very well appointed, excellent staff, no complaints whatsoever other than the fact there is absolutely no parking outside of valet parking which is $32 overnight. The parking meters in downtown Phoenix only allow you a two-hour limit prior to 10 p.m. at night.

  We LOVED staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Phoenix. We arrived late and the hotel receptionist Larry had keys waiting for us, made the check in process super fast and easy. Hotel is very clean and we really liked their comfortable beds, especially pillows. Rooms are spacious with a good size TV. Hotel is very central, it is located near great local restaurants. We played a show at the near by venue and it was just few minutes walking distance, it couldn't be more ideal. The staff, the cleanliness and the location is A+
