::Mike and his helper did a wonderful job of the work we requested them to do which was to remove an 8 x 12 foot concrete slab along with paving stones, and and a few bushes, and removing pea gravel, and using limestone block to create a rock bed planter box, all was done for preparing our backyard for a gravel filled planter box, and Bermuda sod installation.

::We recently bought our new house and the backyard was pretty much a blank canvass awaiting the artist to perform his magic. Mike, from Hillman Outdoor Living and his fabulous crew became that artist. A new, partially covered, patio with a fire pit and outdoor kitchen compliments the swim spa which and created a true masterpiece for us. We will be spending much, much more time outdoors now that we have a wonderful place to live and enjoy the outdoors. Thanks Hillman for a job very well done!

::When I decided to add on a patio and fire pit to my home I sought several bids. Mike Hillman of Hillman Outdoor Living drew up the best design and the price was fair. He was very professional and responsive to my questions and concerns. The project finished on time and within budget. A few months later I noticed a couple of things that I wanted touched up. I was worried Mike would either ignore my messages or try to charge me for work that should have already been done. That wasn't the case at all. Mike sent his guys out the next day and took care of the issue with no hassle. In the end I am very pleased with my patio as well as the workmanship and professionalism of Hillman Outdoor Living.

::I contracted Hillman Outdoor Living to build an arbor for my hot tub and a stone outdoor gas firepit with seating area. I have done many previous projects using random contractors off of craigslist and through word of mouth references and have never been happy with the work that was done. I found Hillman Outdoor Living on Facebook and called. Mike Hillman came out to my house and we talked about what I was looking for. It was clear to see he had done projects like this countless times which was comforting. He was able to take my ideas and add his own and cater it to the landscape we were working with. A few minutes later we had come to an agreed scope of work and price and set a date to get started. When that date came, so did the crew and they made quick work of the job. The said what they would do...and they did what they said, that's really all you can ask of a contractor. The work they did was and is flawless. The fire pit is 15' in diameter, perfectly level with a VERY slight grade for water to run off so it doesn't hold water. They put gigantic flagstone rocks buried slightly into the ground so they're level with the ground as the walkway which I've received countless compliments on but doesn't get in the way of mowing. They even put them in in a curved manner to compliment the pool and concrete work that was already done. The arbor is ridiculously nice...MUCH nicer than I anticipated it looking. Everyone that sees my backyard is WOW'd by it...as am I and probably more importantly, my wife is! ha ...my only regret is that I didn't get Hillman to do my outdoor kitchen first. It's ok and all, but I can only imagine what it would look like if Hillman had done it! I absolutely, highly recommend using Hillman Outdoor Living for any and all projects like this.
