I slid and hit a telephone pole in the snow with my car. Top Notch was called by the sheriff to come tow my car. I asked if the car could be towed 6 miles to an auto body shop and they said ok. While the car was on the way to the shop, the driver called the owner to ask how much to charge me. The owner said it would be $325 CASH plus tax, because it was a busy night and the owner wanted to have the car taken back to his shop. The car would not be released by the driver until cash was paid. I don’t blame the driver, but whoever the shop owner is, clearly is soulless scum. I doubt the owner will even care about this review, but figured I would let everyone know to avoid this place at all costs. There’s a difference between running a business and kicking people when they’re down. I won’t be stopping at this review. I will reveal this place to everyone for what it really is, a complete scam. Edit: response from owner is a lie. They gave me no option to pay with credit and in fact when I said I don’t have that kind of cash on me, the driver said he would wait until I went to an ATM and got it!! Why not just take a card?? Seems a bit fishy to me.

These are great people. I had a problem on the road with my car and they fixed it fast professionally and personally. And they were fairly priced. Doing business with these people is good business!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My car broke down on the Taconic, this place came and towed my car to their shop. They told me the car overheated causing pistons and rods to poke a hole in my engine, thereby causing all the oil to drain, and quoted me $3500 for a new engine. My car has never overheated, there was no oil on the ground under the car. I was fairly certain they were lying. I have a warranty so any repair work most be done at a Jeep dealer. I had my car towed to one. Surprise! A) NO hole in the engine. B) I do not need a new engine. Steer clear of this place.
