  I found it strange to see so many negative reviews on here. I have been banking with Highland for about 20 years. Although this isn't my primary location, I have patronized it and found no issues with customer service, or anything else for that matter.

  Spent 20 minutes at the drive through for a simple deposit with cash back. After 15 minutes I rang the bell and asked if there was a problem. The guy came back and said he would get to it. Another 5 minutes went by and he came back with the wrong amount deposited and the wrong cash back. When I questioned him he still got it wrong. Everything I asked for was done wrong and it took 20 minutes. Terrible customer service! I closed all my accounts. Urging the rest of my family to do the same. I have been a Highland customer fo about 30 years but this is unacceptable. Their interest rates are bad too. Found better service and rates at a credit union.

  Horrible experience! I’ve been with highland bank for over 10 years & usually go to the St.paul location, which a FABULOUS place. However, I went to the Bloomington location to open a savings account today & the man who tried to help me not only wouldn’t answer my questions, but also kept pressuring me to transfer my checking account to a different kind of account (I didn’t even want to discuss my checking account!) but also kept bullying me in to deciding on a certain type of savings account. I eventually told him that I felt too pressured to open an account today & left. His behavior was incredibly disrespectful— He didn’t care why I was there or what I needed as a customer. Instead, he kept trying to tell me what he thought I needed! Maybe think about the needs of your customers first next time, hmmm?

  Get your ATM to the year 2000... Put my card in, requested cash, sat there for 3-4 minutes, said nothing, no reciept. I pulled my card and thought we were done. Today I find out it went through. Now I have to go to the bank for an ATM dispute. Such a waste of time...
