::Rather than staying at the Renaissance Marriott where we usually stay in Nashville, we decided to try somewhere different. We like the scene on Broadway a LOT (the music, the crowds, the bars...) so we wanted to stay close to the center of action. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location!! Right above The Boot Barn and across the street from Honky Tonk Central with 3 HUGE windows overlooking Broadway! First of all, the loft itself is beautiful! The living area is huge and well suited for entertaining. It has a second smaller bathroom for guests, which is a nice touch. The bedroom is smallish, but the bed was super comfortable. Free wifi, full kitchen, fold out bed in the living room. The extra little "sitting parlor" up front was NICE for people watching. And the extra set of doors there helped cut down on street noise at night. While I'm on that subject, do NOT book this place if you are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway. You are on top of a bar, beside a bar, and across the street from a bunch of bars. The whole street is lined with loud honky tonks and music starts @ 11am daily and plays until 2am. This location is well suited for for those who come to town to party and experience the Nashville live music scene. It's a lively location!! My only criticism was that there wasn't a full length mirror in the whole place. Also, I wish there was some sort of built in speakers or surround sound for listening to your own music while you people watch ;-) Otherwise it was well stocked for our trip (hairdryer, iron/board, basic dishes and kitchen utensils, towels/washcloths, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, and washer/dryer). FYI: Only way to get up to this loft is to climb a flight of stairs. It is not handicap accessible and you will have to drag your luggage up the stairs.
