  I had to send my car to a shop because someone backed into it while parked. Everything was taken care of through insurance and it was very easy to get a ride to/from the shop and hertz through hertz's partnership with lyft. I was rented a very nice car and the process was very easy.

  Rental went very smoothly. Agent came out to walk around the car and took photos of scratches so a record existed.The car was perfect for my needs, clean and ready to go.

  They made a difficult situation more difficult by not having a handle on their job. Almost to the point where I was going to have to go somewhere else. Until one of the girls popped into the back and got a solution for the bearded hipster manager who just sat in his office with the door opened not offering any help. Real service is dead in America, people no longer understand how to treat people like people. Just by the book drone like behavior, in service no should be a last resort. Very accommodating to their white customers, not so much for me. Couldn't find my changed reservation that I made through the AAA app. Wouldn't rent to me because I didn't have a major credit card, though I was willing to pay upfront, which I was able to do in the past at another location. Where the consistency across the company. In the end I paid the highest rate possible for a car that has an odor, 1/2 full tank and was dirty inside. They forgot to mention whether or not it came with easy pass. They just seemed kind of aloof, dumb and just plain unhelpful. I missed an interview, and arrived to work late, as they serviced others while processing my almost $500 compact rental, yes I'll get a deposit back, but come on... I rented in a Middletown location and they were very accommodating, maybe it's because the representative was black, I don't know. I just know that after this I will never rent with Hertz again. Or I'll just seek out locations with people that can empathize with someone that doesn't look like them.

  I had no problems here, though I had read bad reviews of the place. I was in and out with my rental in less then 15 minutes. Courteous and helpful staff.
