  Hank’s is really good! My husband and I had the shrimp avocado salad (yuuuum), and burgers for mains. They also give this awesome chocolate as free dessert! I highly recommend. I was a little disappointed with the fries but that’s about it. Also, what’s it with the goldfish snack instead of bread? Miss me with that! Overall, great experience.

  The staff was lovely and the restaurant is in a cute old renovated building which gives a cozy feeling. I went expecting good oysters and ordered one of each type they offered. Out of 6 different locations, only 2 were good and they were all very small. If you are used to healthy, beautiful oysters from New Orleans like I am, you will be very disappointed. The other seafood items were standard, but prices were a bit high.

  I tried oysters many years ago, didn't like, but now I'm a fan of the mind blowing mollusk, at HANKS anyway. I had oyster sake shooters, the calamari and shrimp combination (great portion) duck fat potatoes, onion rings and Oyster Rockefeller. A great and knowledgeable staff, was eager to educate, and serve with a smile.The cocktails were freshly mixed, and the flavors were exquisitely blended, you gotta get there, you'll love oysters, even if you hadn't before.   Years ago, a friend and I instituted monthly oyster nights at Hank's. Naturally over the years, we've missed a few, but we've kept it going because of the fantastic food and the amazing staff. We most often eat nothing but oysters. Always seven varieties - three West Coast, three East Coast, and the Hank's own Salty Wolf variety. We like to sit at the bar, chat with the bartender and other patrons. There seem to be a lot of loyal, repeat customers based on how many are greeted by name. I have also been numerous times with other friends, and the entire menu is quality. The tuna tartare, fried popcorn shrimp and calamari, and the Brussels sprouts are among my favorites. Each season, Alex develops new cocktails, so there is always something new to try. The wine list is extensive and they feature local draft beers. Highly recommend Hank's.

  Food was good, not amazing. Mark up must be at least 40% just for being on King Street. They only serve oysters raw or fried. They tasted great, but I would have ordered 2 dozen if they were offered steamed. We got there early and sat in the window seat that overlooks King Street. It's a cool place at a great location. The bar was packed and looked like a lot of fun. I think of this more as a good lunch or light early dinner. I enjoyed my food tremendously, but I went home and made myself a sandwich.
