::My first time staying at this hotel but it won't be my last. The hotel felt new and inviting. The breakfast was okay not the best I've had or anything and certainly not the worse. The customer service was awesome at the front counter. I enjoyed my room but it did have a little noise from the street but it wasn't too bad once the heater kicked on.

::Really nice stay! I enjoyed the room and the breakfast options given everyday! Most of the staff was super nice and helpful. Just the lady in the very morning at the front desk was very rude when I tried to tell her that the hairdryer in my room is broken. She looked at me as if I broke it! The location of the hotel is very close to a BART station and was easily reachable!

::Great, clean, quiet hotel with a business professional atmosphere and all the modern amenities. Rooms are comfortable and offer plenty of privacy. Staff is polite, professional, respectful, and very helpful. Well stocked snack shop and complimentary toiletries if you forgot a toothbrush or razor or what have (or rather what don’t have you 😜). Perfectly located between Chinatown and downtown and just a few blocks from the highway in what felt like a very safe location. The hotel is surrounded by a seemingly endless and diverse selection of restaurants, shops, and night life within just a few blocks radius and you can hop on the highway in two minutes to get to anywhere else in the Bay Area. Valet parking is available but no self-parking. Single bed rooms are a little on the small side but not cramped by any means. The only thing you sacrifice at this hotel is a view. Only a few rooms on the 7th and 8th floors have any sort of view of the city that could be considered interesting facing north. Views of the bay are obstructed by neighboring buildings, but it’s a very small sacrifice and there are plenty of places where you can go in the city to get a view of the bay. Rooms are very modestly priced around $170 before tax making it easily one of the best choices of hotels when staying in downtown Oakland.

::Nice hotel in downtown Oakland. Clean and front desk staff is extra helpful and very professional. Have breakfast and food for purchase. Close to the highway and minutes from Berkley Marina and Bay bridge. Area does have some ppl hanging around but nothing out of the ordinary for a downtown area.
