  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... 6th stay. Love it. They are taking feedback and working on the hotel. I am now on my 5th stay. Much better - This time I'm in a huge room that has been remodeled. The beds are great with new sheets and there are new towels. The stickee floor problem is getting better. 4th stay -- Each time I stay, the room seem to get smaller. This one barely fit the bed. If you're claustrophobic this is not the place for you. Food for breakfast is ok, not spectacular. The biggest problem I have is that the floors are always sticky.

  Staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. But room is too small to begin, then bed itself seems single twin bed size. Anyone near 200lbs, not able to fit for two(as they said for two). Very tight spaces all over, noisy at night due to leaking windows(they say can't fix). Breakfast is low class (front desk says "very good hot breakfast"). Not recommend with this condition.

Got to Oakland to check in and Farieda was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was hot and delicious, the room spacious and clean, and the bed was wonderful! Would stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!

  Staff was very friendly. upgraded our room when we got there seeing we had 3 people, the rooms can be small. Gave us a roll away and no extra charges. Breakfast in the morning was solid, eggs, bacon, potatoes. located just 2 blocks from the 12th street BART, its convenient for traveling to and from SF. We went for the Raiders game and there is a BART station in front of the stadium and also to the airport. One word of advice, as with any city, this location isn't the best and safest location. Downtown Oakland can be a rough city. If you get a good deal to stay here stay, but just be aware of what times you will be coming back to your hotel and keep a look out. Oakland in general isn't the safest city to be in so again that is probably the biggest downside to his hotel, however there are also not so good neighborhoods in SF as well. Another heads up, my buddy who went with us has T-mobile and didn't have service in our room. Overall this is a cheaper alternative than staying in SF where you are bound to spend an arm and a leg for a place to lay your head.
