I would consider this place very reasonably priced what you get. Excellent breakfast and more importantly excellent people and service.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Best customer service. Carrie was one of the friendliest and most helpful front desk clerks I've come in contact with and this is coming from someone who has stayed at plenty of hotels. Whole experience was great.

I visited this place because it was close to the fire academy. First off, the price for the room was more expensive than most, the a/c (lobby and hallways),was ridiculously cold, and the front desk crew were a bit aloof. If you didn't say hello or good morning first then there would be no greetings. The room: A/C thermostat on the wall is basically a facade. I resorted to the panel on the a/c which cleary stated to operate the unit via the thermostat on the wall. My room was set for 64 degrees yet, going out into the hallway was like stepping outside your heated home during the winter without your coat. The beds were made nicely and the bathroom was clean but, the shower head was old, broken, and leaked While in use. Lastly, I'm across the hall from the elevators but, the motor at night is pretty loud. If you're easily startled by noises, you may want to find a room remote to the elevators

This was our third visit to this property. As a Hilton Honors Diamond level member I have spent countless nights in Hilton properties. Sadly this one is not up to the standards Hilton claims for itself and which I have come to expect. The room I had checked into using their online service was not available. "Sorry, the person extended." So the time spent selecting a room was wasted and the system failed yet again. The Lobby area was clean and well refrigerated. This isn't just Hilton, so many businesses feel the need to keep the ambient temperature in the mid-60's. I'm in Florida, I expect (and cherish) a bit of warmth. Here you need a jacket to come inside. And the room was also set to the mid-60's and we quickly learned that you need to control the fan not at the thermostat but on the unit under the window itself. The room was clean (although the paint was peeling in the shower and the seal on the glass shower enclosure door was pulling away from the glass. The toilet flushed but only barely, and only a bit better after a half hour wait for someone to plunge it. But the real problem was breakfast the next morning. The fresh fruit was not. It had a bitter taste (likely from the canned citrus they included). It was simply inedible. The potatoes were clearly from frozen and reheated, and mushy. The omelets were remarkably uniform, but that's what you get from frozen bulk omelets from Tyson Foods. If you aren't going to make eggs, best not to offer them. The staff of the hotel was always pleasant, so at least I know Hilton has maintained its standards in that area. Perhaps it was the weekend, but I've come to expect more from Hilton and this property did not deliver.
