  No surprise there's a line. This is the real deal. Great variety. Fresh meats, cheeses, salads. Great service, too! Really about the best bagel I've ever had outside of Manhattan

  I just had such a great experience at H&L bagel. I realized that I didn't have any cash and they insisted that I take my coffee and breakfast anyways and pay them another time. I ran some errands, got some cash, and was so happy to go back and pay them for my amazing bagel sandwich (I watched them taking those bagels out of the oven. So good). They have a customer for life.

  Best place for bagels in Bayridge. Great staff friendly service I am a 20 year customer. Never a bad experience.

  You're not going to find a better deli to buy breakfast. High turnover so the bagels are always hot and fresh. Friendly staff. Good muffins and breakfast sandwiches. What more could you want?

  I was actually disappointed. Given the line was out the door, this shoulda been at least a fresh bagel. I'll stick to my usual guy. The extra star was for the organized staff keeping the line moving.
