I live nearby and go here often, for music it is good to support brick and mortar stores. There are lots of good equipment here for all skill levels.

Standard guitar center experience, .. hard to get someone to help you, and the experience level is pretty poor. Half of the powered speaker systems have "line to Mic level issues" .. so it seems like some speakers have lots of audible distortion at fairly low levels .. but it's really a matter of just mixer line levels put into the mic level input, .. then turned down the volume. Training would go a long way .. I went to another store and listened to the same speakers .. and 4 of them.

These guys are great. The repair center crew has helped me fix a lot of issues for a minimal fee and they'll take time explaining the reasoning behind their logic if you're interested enough to ask! All round great crew working here and a clean establishment!

Helpful, attentive staff. Great selection. Good variety of demo models. Used to frequent the Westheimer location, but this one has quickly become my favorite.

This review is for the Heights location. The place is nice and is full of what you'd expect from a Guitar Center (good & bad). The service there is another thing. I waited and looked for someone to help me out. I was trying to find out how much one of the guitar stands were and no one seem cared to even attempt to help me. I also was looking at buying some replacement parts for my guitar but yet again there was no help. I finally grabbed the guitar stand and went up to what seemed to be the only register open and asked how much it was. I paid and left as soon as I could. I go to another Guitar Center close to me and they have ALWAYS have asked if I needed help. It just seemed like the Heights location didn't care.
