::Our experience was ok. The check in was complicated. Coffee pot didn't work. Didn't have garage parking key card. Room was beautiful, perfect for our family get together.

::I had an awesome two night stay at The Guild in downtown Austin w my 83 year old mother. The check-in key fob situation was pretty confusing, but I honestly did not read the check in instructions before hand or watch the video. Once I did that, I figured it out. I do believe there is a glitch w check out though. The video says to leave the key fob in the apt, lock the door then go to the elevator and go to the 3rd floor garage... but you need the key fob to access the floor you want to go to in the elevator. Luckily there were two of us and after we got the elevator, I used the key fob to access fl 3, then ran back to the room (while my mom held the elevator) and left the key fob, locked the door then got to the elevator. Besides that glitch, all was good. The apt was clean, unfussy/cluttered, comfortable, and suited our needs. The location was great w restaurants and shops in walking distance. It’s right near the river so I did a run along the water one morning. There is a parking garage in premise ( additional cost). We ran out of toilet paper and didn’t realize till we got back from dinner at 10 pm, and within 15 mins someone came w 3 rolls. (We communicated via text). Loved the urban city feel to our trip and will surely come back w my husband to enjoy soon.

::Over all, we can recommend staying with The Guild without hesitation because we experienced first hand how they will bend over backwards to make sure their clients have a great stay. This was a fantastic stay in a clean, comfortable, high-end condo building within walking distance of tons of stuff to do and see. Most importantly, what a company does to make it right when something goes wrong really speaks to their care for their clients, and The Guild went above and beyond for us. When we arrived, we found a number of unfortunate oversights and issues in our unit. As it turns out, the unit was newly converted to a Guild property, so a few "kinks" needed to be worked out (i.e. no toaster, coffee machine not as advertised, no extra pillows/bedding, and the heating/AC unit needed a new transformer). But The Guild went above and beyond to fix these issues in a timely and convenient way, and we ended up having really exceptional stay. That evening, they had an electrician come and fix the heating system. The next morning, they remade the bed and provided a bunch of extra pillows and blankets, and provided a brand new toaster and brand new espresso machine! In addition, we got a partial refund for the inconvenience. Wow. We both have backgrounds in guest relations, service team management and tourism, so we really highly value good service and especially service recovery. The Guild Team is top notch. We'll definitely stay at a Guild property again the next time we're in Texas.
