  If you're vegan, RUN to gringo for the burrito with vegan pollo and no sour cream. Also the guac is the best I've ever had. I love this place, very low key, great vibes. I go at least once a week. The outside seating is awesome.

  There's better Mexican in Raleigh. Try Gonza. The customer service here is terrible and the food is pretty good. But there's good food elsewhere too, complimented by great customer service. Our group of 7 spent more than $150 was asked to leave after we lingered for 15 minutes when our bill was delivered by the owner. He also posts signs in his restaurants that they want to turn tables quickly. If you want to have an enjoyable meal, go somewhere else. You'll be asked to leave here.

  Nice staff and place, quaint and inviting. Very much a "grigo" version of a Mexican place. I have to say i wasn't all too impressed by the food, it was basic. Spicy salsa were just that, spicy, but no burst of flavor like i was hoping for. The staff was extremely pleasant and the prices were good. Sangria was good as well. Good local hangout

  My boyfriend and I are avid restaurant goers and we were very excited to try this place based on the ratings. When we initially went in, we were seated at a table by the door. We asked to switch to the open table next to it because it was in the 30’s, which also seated only 2 people, but were told we couldn’t because that table is used to stack plates and put silverware. Within 5 minutes, another couple entered and were seated at the table we had requested that was “used for plates and silverware”. The service was mediocre from there out, from not being given waters to leaving us waiting for a significant amount of time with the check- after several attempts to get the waitresses attention. The food was good, and the margaritas were awesome. But the overall lack of decent service was very disappointing.

  We have loved Gringo for quite a while now. It's a great place to go with my friends who are not vegetarian like me and still have lots of options! Service is always amazing, food is great, drinks are awesome. The truly best part is that we brought family from out of town here and had the best experience yet! Our waitress was awesome, and everyone was in love with my 17 month old nephew. Gringo always makes us feel at home!
