It's a really gross grocery store. The store has smelled like rotting meat/human excrement for as long as I can remember. Limited selection of essential items, the employees act like they REALLY hate their jobs, and the odor...the odor is so bad. Imagine a dead body laying in a garage on a mid-summer's day at high noon. That's what this store smells like. It could literally knock a buzzard off a stench wagon. 1/5 stars - do not recommend.

If you go to the 7-11 on H Street you will come across friendlier associates. The associate responsible for the self checkout area is commonly not within the area to assist customers. Never once did they say hello or apologize if they do need to assist you. Even once the third-party security guard was doing overrides in the check out area because no giant associates were available to assist customers. I brought up the concerns and spoken to the assistant manager and they went as far as giving me a gift card however the associate continued to speak badly about the situation in front of both myself and the assistant manager yet the manager did not ask the associate to stop. I had the free gift card I went back today and get again experienced another rude associate in the self checkout area. The Customer Service Desk seems to be a hangout for associates rather then a service desk. Even though the store is just one block from my home Iโ€™d rather go to another store several blocks away and pay more money not to have this experience.

Convient location, decent prices and value, has almost everything you need. Delivery service is pretty good, they are great about making sure your products (like eggs) are quality or they give you a refund and let you keep the product (example: If you have one cracked egg theyโ€™ll give you the other 11 for free). Only complaint is they donโ€™t have all the options/products for delivery that they have in store.

It's a reasonable size grocery store and I'm usually able to find what I need. I really like the fresh produce department in Giants, but it's really nice especially in this store on H Street. Also, try their poppy seed muffins - delicious!
