  Hi Lauren When I read the article about the best teacher - Nancie Atwell - I sent sms to all my colleagues to get the publication and read it themselves. I truly subscribe to the contents of the write up. Here in South Africa we have ANA - Annual National Assessment- which drives most teachers round the bend, forcing them to teach to test ANA.
