  My Grandmother had her wake at the location on Rockaway Blvd in Ozone Park. I was disappointed, saddened and then disgusted by this funeral home. First, the mortician made several remarks about prepping my Grandmother's body for the funeral, things no grieving family need to hear about. We all understand the process and as an avid viewer of Dexter and Six Feet Under, I get it but you don't say that to the family DURING the wake. He made several mentions to his own loses and started CRYING at her funeral, a woman we were all sad to loose but he never met. He described my Grandmother as "Clean" when addressing the guests to the wake... Um really?! There were several misspellings, grammatical and factual errors in the Mass Cards and Obituary even though it was typed up and given to them correctly. The response was, "Who is going to know?" We had the funeral the next day at the same place and the place was not cleaned from the night before. Chairs were still askew, wrappers and tissues on the floor and a dirty restroom. This is NOT how a grieving family should be treated especially after paying such a large sum of money. Once they get your money in hand, the service is out of the window.
