  Staying at this hostel is fantastic. Not only is it really clean but the beds are super comfy and feels quite safe. There are some hostels I’ve stayed at without key access to the room, but this one has it! It was in a really central area and everything is within walking distance. The staff are also really chill and awesome. I’d highly recommend staying here! (The picture is of the entrance to their lounge area which is super cool!)

  Great little hostel in a central location in Austin. The staff are friendly. The "hidden " bar is very cool. Close to all the action on 6th street. Lockers under every bed and the beds were large singles. Onsite laundry facilities were handy.

  Great hostel. The workers were extremely helpful and friendly. There were some issues such as small headroom and wifi that was not working for part of the stay but they don't deserve a 4/5. The bar in the basement was great and the location was about as good as you can get in Austin.

  So they send emails saying they will be charging your credit card within two days for the full amount of your stay and spook you out saying they will cancel your booking if they can't collect the money. They don't take payment and did not request payment as I checked with my credit card company. Then you contact them asking what is going on they then say it is taking time to process the payments. After another few days checking and waiting, email again and they say they will take it by the end of that day but still don't . When you then panic and book somewhere else, email to explain and cancel because they have not taken payment and you're stressed out because you don't know what the hell is going on after 9 days, they take payment the next day saying you can't cancel. They now view this as asking for a refund when they had not taken the money before the cancellation. They are fully booked according to their website. I have tried to explain our reasoning for the cancellation to no avail. Great little scam. Now I am £475 out of pocket (about $658).and will have to rely on my credit card company to try to fight on my behalf. Such poor service and taking money for nothing.

  Clean and tidy hostel. Breakfast is simple (cereal, bagels, etc.) but nice to have. The bar downstairs is popping in the later evenings so if you like going to bed early keep that in mind! Great location downtown, right off 6th with S. Congress just a block away!
