::Instead of the C-Pap machine, I have an adjustable oral appliance for sleep apnea that Dr. Hilsen fitted me for and specializes in. It is as easy to wear as a retainer and actually, I use it for that as well. It is also great to travel with, small, no hoses, Never have to worry how you sleep-on your side, even stomach. Medicare pays for it, too. They last a good 5 Years or more and soak clean. It is such a great alternative to being plugged into a machine. Certainly worth your consideration. Sally

::I highly recommend Dr. Hilsen and the dental device he uses for alleviating sleep apnea. It is comfortable, easy to use nightly (great for compliance) and most importantly, highly effective. After struggling with sleep apnea for years, and being unable to tolerate CPAP, this was an elegantly, simple solution! I am very grateful and regret not having pursued this sooner. Dr. Hilsen is a patient listener, he is thorough and makes sure you understand exactly what this device is, how it works and how to use it. His staff is also very efficient and pleasant to work with.
