Like other reviews have mentioned overpriced to the point where it isn't even worth looking. Almost every record seems to be some $20+ gold nugget to the guy working there.

This place is insanely horrible. I can't believe it's for real honestly. The vibe you'll quickly get here is "why are you in my store?" My friend and I walk inside today and are immediately told there's a $5 record section but "we look like the kind of people that wouldn't want to browse that." We're also told we aren't allowed to examine any of the records out of the sleeve. Umm I know how to handle a record properly... This is ridiculous already I knew but I just browsed anyway to see what was there. We're also told that that the prices are high so don't think you're going to get over on him on anything essentially or get a bargain... "I know the values." Wow great way to make customers want to leave immediately. The place is dirty and cluttered with tons of records stacked on top of each other (a huge no no to anyone who knows anything about vinyl.) We look around and the guy proceeds to follow us all around the store making me extremely uncomfortable. I felt like he was watching and commenting on my every move. My friend asks him if he has a dollar section and he replies "can't pay the rent with a dollar." He also goes on to say that promo stamped records are worth more always when most of the time it honestly doesn't even matter as most records are common. I knew this was a disaster waiting to happen but we give him some records and ask for the price for fun. He goes to the computer and spends awhile and writes on a paper: Thomas Dolby She Blinded Me with Science single 12" (he wants $25!) and 3 Psychedelic Furs records ($20 each). Absolutely insane gouging prices on common 80s records that are worth at best $5 each, $10 tops on a really good day. I knew the prices he'd say were going to be high but not that high. These prices are on records that are sight unseen too please realize... absolutely insane. What other real record store does this? They could be trashed for all I know. I then tell him I have to think about that for now. He says "the Dolby record may be here but the Furs albums probably won't soon." Oh I believe they probably will "Forever Now" with everything else you're hoarding in there. By far the worst record store I've ever been to and I've been to many. Followup to what was written below: Pristine condition wasn't wanted just fair prices. How do you make up a price without viewing it yourself out of the sleeve? Why buy anything when you can just get better prices on ebay, discogs, other stores even after shipping? Makes no sense. Yes you need to make money, totally respect that, but there's a point where you're price gouging. Honestly think you'd be doing so much better and moving inventory if you priced fairly. The owner of the store rated his own store on these google reviews if that says anything...

HUGE selection of used cassette tapes, which is what I went in for. When the owner told me the price range for used tapes was $4.99 to $19.99, I thought he was kidding. These cassettes were insanely priced and when I mentioned that I couldn’t pay those prices he proceeded to mansplain to me that cassettes are more popular now and that his prices were competitive. Not only am I a collector, but also a dealer, and I know that to be untrue. No other record store I know of - in the middle of an, ahem, blighted industrial part of town - prices cassettes this way. Really? $8 for a used tape of a so-so band? That didn’t bother me nearly as much as this guy’s hostile and condescending nature. I was prepared to easily drop $500. Instead, I didn’t want to give him a dime and walked out the door. Perhaps this guy needs a lesson on the theory of supply and demand. Follow-up: Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that he and his associate looked over our shoulders the whole time. I was looking at cassettes, not putting crack into dime bags for Wesley Snipes in New Jack City for the love of God. Just creepy. Record hunting is supposed to be fun. In 25 years of retail hunting I've never been made to feel more like a criminal than I did at this place. I don't wish this business owner failure but, as my business owner myself, I'd like to be made aware of why people don't spend money in my store. I would want to know why people walk out empty-handed. I hope this and other feedback help. Because there is good product. But I'll shop on eBay all day than shop here.

Saw this place on Google maps. Was a little skeptic going there because of the reviews, but I figured why not. I first went there on a Tuesday to look and see if they had any Pink Floyd albums. Not just dark side, or the wall I was looking for the early years. They had records upon records of early Pink Floyd. (Not just Floyd they have records you'll never find else where.) I didn't get payed till Thursday, so I asked if he could hold them for me till pay day. They said of course. I stopped back in on Thursday to pick up the records.i stayed there for over an hour talking to Irv, the owner, in retrospect I didn't feel like was I harrased or rushed or anything like the other comments said, I felt welcomed for sure. And the price of the vinyls are at a competitive price. I looked everywhere online and at there stores and it's all the same price. Just remember your supporting a local business, not a Corp. Or a franchise chain. I will definitely be back to further grow my vinyl collection.
