Before I set up an appointment, I was told my insurance was accepted (medicaid/aetna). Come the day I walk in, the receptionist could not find my insurance on file in the system. All in all, a complete waste of a trip just to be told something that could've been over the phone. Thanks.

I'm not sure why this place has only been given 3 stars overall. I've had nothing but good experience since I started going here over 2 years ago. Most recently, they helped me resolve a major eye allergy problem. The doctors have all been great & the administrative staff are very friendly & helpful.

I normally go here for my eye exams and glasses, but today was the first time I've gone for something not routine. I was having some vision issues and they made sure to get me in immediately even though I had no appointment. My medical insurance didn't cover the visit but they made sure it was affordable for me anyway. It was really meaningful to feel like I had a place that would make sure I'm okay. Hopefully you never have to do more than a routine exam but I definitely recommend them and am really happy with the way I was treated.

Very poor customer service, and general incompetence, by secretaries at the desk. Have been going there for over 10 years and hasn't been an issue until the past few. Seems to be going downhill, but no problems with actual opthalmologists. They have very poor record keeping (shouldn't rely on customer's memory to know what was performed the previous year), they frequently bill customers incorrectly, and the secretaries at the desk generally have no clue what they are doing whatsoever. Should either pay more to get higher quality employees at the desk, or provide better training to their employees.

The doctors are pretty good but today was the third time they overcharged my wife on co pay and I had to call back for them to credit my account. I don't have that kind of time, and if someone isn't paying attention they will get overbilled. I will be changing doctors soon.
