  As Em’s Cafe neighbor at FadePro barbershop, she very dangerous 😂 The amount of delicious pastries and soft,fluffy croissants is mind blowing! I didn’t pack breakfast today so I got an egg and cheese croissant with a creamy, spicy sauce! *chefs kiss* !

  I highly recommend! Spoke with Emma just 2 days before my daughter’s NCSU graduation party as the caterer I usually use was no longer in business and she stepped in and was fantastic:) she has vegan , vegetarian options which is what I needed as my daughter and her bf are vegan. Her vegan wraps were actually gone before the other foods! Delicious! Everything was great , the presentation was fabulous and the desserts were delicious and cookies were out of this world and beyond expectations! Will definitely be using your services again and several friends asked about you as well :) I wish I had taken better pictures of the food to post here but with hosting and everyone eating realized too late I didn’t get close ups!! But I highly recommend Emma if you need a caterer and will be doing business again at my next party!!

  Ugh. I really hate to do this but after calling the cafe to leave them feedback, I feel like I have no choice. We went in to the cafe early morning on 11/23. I bought a brownie, coffee cake, and a pumpkin roll. When I was there, I specially asked the “pastry chef” if the items were baked the “same day.” I even said, “were these baked this morning?” Both times, she said yes. We get home, try the brownie. Absolutely horrible. Completely dry. The edges were hard and just not good at all. The coffee cake was great. Fast forward to Thanksgiving day, we brought out the pumpkin roll and it was inedible. It couldn’t be cut, it was dry, and just all around not what you would expect from a bakery. A family member brought one from the local grocery and it tasted incredible. How can a speciality bakery mess this up so terribly? I called this bakery this morning and was told the items weren’t fresh and the pumpkin roll was made the day before I went in. The lady I spoke to blamed it on the pastry chef’s language as English isn’t her first language. Unacceptable. We love the pop tarts at this bakery but blaming the old and inedible pastries on a language barrier is unacceptable. Disappointing.

  Em's Cafe and Catering created these beautiful and delicious cookies for a bridal shower! I described the theme as "pink floral with a little bit of gold" and Chef Em rocked it!! these cookies were prettier than I could have even imagined and I am obsessed with the gold accents. did i mention they also tasted SO good!!

  We stopped in to check out the place and grab something for “treat night” and happened upon the most delicious cupcakes! They aren’t super thick but more like cake and the frosting was perfectly creamy. We got the “Heath” and chocolate chip flavors. The sweetness wasn’t too overpowering but a great balance with the cake part. We’ll definitely be back!
