  My daughter and I had a lovely experience at Emily's while prom dress shopping. She needed two dresses due to her boy friend attending a different school. It was upscale, fun, relaxed, yet no nonsense. Darlene Is a great communicator. She was so attentive and asked all the right questions, that she knew exactly what my daughter wanted, and needed. Poof.... there was the dress, and the second dress was not far behind. They both needed to be altered and Zoya their seamstress was sweet, reassuring, and precise. We want to thank Emily for a truly pleasant experience.

  I have never personally written a review but I felt compelled after my first trip to Emily's. I was looking for a gown for my son's wedding and could not believe the treatment I received by the owner of this boutique. Apparently they are expanding and they had some workers in the store, one being an electrician. First, I was abruptly and rudely asked to go to the dressing room on the other side of the boutique. I had a gown on when I was asked to do this. No problem, I went to the other side very nicely and there was a lovely girl who assisted me. I then continued to try on another dress and was discussing the wedding with the sales assistant. The owner speaks once again, stating "are you done?" Because the electrician is going to shut the lights and it's dark. I was so taken back I couldn't speak. Just as I was getting out of the dress they shut the lights and I could barely get dressed. Imagine, I am in her dressing room. Talk about being treated like you don't matter. I have never been so insulted and I'm amazed how this woman thinks she can treat a potential customer. To think they are expanding, I can only assume she would want the business. Staten Island is a small place and to be quite honest I was advised not to go there because of the owner. I make my own opinions. Emily, learn how to treat people and have some respect! Respect in life is everything. Don't think you are better than anyone because life will show you at one point or another THAT YOU ARE NOT. I'm sorry, someone needs to set you straight. It doesn't matter how nice your store looks, it's how you're treated when you're inside.

  Great great great! They try to show you what you want and work with your budget. They're all super nice and there's gorgeous dresses.

  A beautiful store with quality clothing and attentive sales women.
