  I feel kind of bad for the employees here. It seems that almost all the customers give them attitude. If you're nice to them they will treat you nicely

  This Duane Reade is a bit small compared to other locations. The store has the same selection of items found in other locations, but everything is crammed into a fairly small space. The lines at this location are typically long, especially at lunch time. You could easily spend 5-10 minutes in line during lunch times. I generally avoid this Duane Reade because there is another location just 4 blocks away that isn't as crowded.

  Very helpful staff. I didn't wait long on the line and the cashier was super kind. I would definitely return to this Duane Reade.

  Expensive yes. I loved it because I had a serious problem and they solved it in less than thirty minutes so I could catch a plane. Also, the guy selling ties out front gave me one of the greatest conversations I had in a long time. He is actually a psychologist and owns resort property in Brazil. You can ask him yourself why he sells ties. Brilliant conversation... Tell him you heard about him through me and want to know the story about the Freedom Tower and he'll tell you the story and probably give you a free tie or two. Great guy...
