  While this Duane Reade has a better atmosphere than its nearby competitors, the selection has never managed to meet my needs. I no longer bother trying to pick up what I specifically need there because 3/4 of the time they just don't have it (basic things like cleaning and hair products). If you are less particular in your brands etc you may have a better experience.

  The prescriptions are almost always screwed up or delayed. I would not recommend this Duane reader as a regular spot for prescriptions.

  They get 2 points for being opened 24hrs and being clean. Zero points for customer service. They have anti-theft equipment securing some items (I needed lotion), but they completely ignore the customer service announcement for help. An employee even walked past and ignored me until I went to the register to complain. The "manager" eventually emerged from the back (which is ironically located in the lotion section), to offer assistance after being called out by the staff member at the register.

  This is a pretty decent Duane Reade. Great frozen food selection and open late. Friendly staff. It can get pretty busy in the after work hours, though. Makeup selection is nowhere near as good as the Duane Reade on 86th & Lex.

  My go-to convenience store in my neighborhood, this Duane Reade is new, nicely laid out, and well maintained. Selection is decent, particularly if you're in a pinch. Prices are standard for DR, which is to say high. Staff are friendly and helpful. Open 24 hours is a great convenience.
