  Great location. Tons of shopping, dining and bars within walking distance. Our room (King Bed Suite) was very spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming when checking in. Would have given 5 stars, but the parking is abysmal. I understand it's in the heart of Downtown, but the driveway needs to be wider than to allow 1 car. If 2 cars are going in opposite directions, only one can fit through.

  If I could give a negative star review I would. Would not recommend this hotel. Ice machine was broken on our floor and another floor. Very small parking lot, and have to pay to park each day. Room was incredibly warm and our AC wasn’t working. Automatic doors for the front do not work. Have to pay to use WiFi or only use it for one day. No pool.

  I didn't sleep much during my recent stay at the DoubleTree, mostly because it was hotter than the blazes in my room. I turned the thermostat down a few degrees, no change. Turned it down some more, and still nothing. Finally, I turned it down as far as it would go and still got no relief. Since we were on the eighth floor I assumed that the window wouldn't open, for safety sake, but to my surprise I was wrong! You could've jumped right out of that sucker, and had there been a snowbank below I probably would've thought pretty seriously about it. Thankfully, it began to cool off, just in time for me to need to get ready for the day and check out. We brought the faulty thermostat up with the staff as we checked out, and were told that that's just how it operates, there's not a lot to be done about it. So is the thermostat there for a funky contemporary art piece? The other things that I noticed during my stay that I would normally overlook became especially irritating, probably because I was exhausted, included towels that we're stained and holy, and a shower curtain that was about to fall off the rod because it was in disrepair. To their credit, the staff was friendly and the cookies we got at check-in were delicious. However, I expect better from the Hilton brand.

  Love this hotel. Room was reasonably priced and huge. Clean and modern. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Although, the feature advertised in the room to allow you to text for service or questions was useless. I texted and the auto reply came that someone would be chatting with me shortly. After sending a few more messages, and over an hour later, I gave up. Everything else was awesome. I even got a free warm cookie 🍪 on check-in! 😻😻😻

  Good location. Easy to walk to area restaurants. The bar on site is small so gets crowded easily. Only ordered apps but they were okay. Bartenders were awesome! Rooms were clean but the hotel could use an update. There is also a Starbucks onsite.
